CDR King Megamall -- the King of Bad Customer Service

I guess the title says it all -- CDR King in SM Megamall tops my list (for now) of really bad or non-existent customer service.

It is unfortunate that we can get the cheapest gadget and gadget peripherals in this store. Apparently, they do not earn enough profit to train their customer service people. It's mind boggling and downright frustrating!

Upon entering the well-lit and relatively spacious store, you look around and after a minute, realize that there is no system in place. You spot about five uniformed staff walking back and forth behind the counters, busy trying to look busy, while ignoring the countless customers wating in a non-existent queue. And here's what takes the cake...when we and other customers asked what we needed to do, they told us to fall in line! Whaaat??? Uh, last time I checked, there WAS NO LINE!

There was also a marked disinterest, almost apathy, among all of the staff to really attend to their customers' need. CDR King, what is up??? At least a queue exists in their branch in Festival Mall, no matter how long it may be. But their branch in Megamall is the pitts! They ought to pay more attention to their customers and train their staff to do a much better job.

We ended up buying some stuff we needed at another store at a higher price. But hey, that's the price we pay for better customer service.

hehehe, i too have a love and hate relationship with cdrking. love the price, hate the customer service hehehe.

staff of cdrKing SM Megamall are worst, the store have lots of staff but service was too slow… even asking for a stuff you need you still have to fall in line and after waiting and standing for long, they will tell you, out of stock … but talking to their colleagues spend more time than assisting customers… The name RI-EL sasgutin ka lang may irap pa…

i ask for a sample cable for the speaker that i bought, i just want to see what it looks like and im not going to buy anything.. this "RI-EL" told me to get a number and wait for my turn may ina-assist daw sya, sabi ko hindi naman ako nagmamadali, gusto ko lang makita yung cable, after ng inaassist mo!.. Inirapan ako, kailangan ko pa din daw kumuha ng number, the speaker that was the same with me is in front of us, bubuksan lang naman yung box nung display speaker, tapos na! pakukuhain pa ako ng number ang laki ng gap bago ako.... that was beside their testing area. May lumapit na isa para i-test yung webcam ng inaassist nya, hawak nya yung webcam waiting for her turn kasi may tini-test pa, ganun din ang sinabi sa akin... mas gusto pang ubusin ang oras nya na hawak ang webcam for testing ang ignore some service na pwede naman sana.. yung speaker ayun lang sa ilalaim ng siko nya sa loob ng glass... worst!!!!
